About Crisis Services' Advocate Program:

Crisis Service’s Advocate Program is our community’s New York State Department of Health-designated Rape Crisis Center and a New York State Approved Non-Residential Domestic Violence Service Provider.

Our Advocates provide immediate on-site crisis intervention, safety planning, and advocacy for survivors of sexual and domestic violence at all hospitals in Erie County – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also house a Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) Program, that dispatches specialized forensic nurses, otherwise known as SANEs, to all Kaleida and Catholic Health System Hospitals – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In addition to our crisis response, we offer on going supportive services through case management and offer preventative services through our prevention, education and outreach. The Advocate Program is committed to empowering survivors of sexual and domestic violence and strives to reduce the impact of violence and build a safer community.
