Please join me in supporting real change! Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a community event, working to raise awareness in our neighborhood regarding sexual and domestic violence issues.
I am participating in this event in honor of a very near and dear friend who found herself in need of The Advocate Program made available through Crisis Services.
Since then I have come to realize just how wide spread this issue of sexual violence is and the importance of what Crisis Services provides.
Everyone plays an important role in preventing violence. I've set a personal goal to raise $1,500 this year to help fund The Advocate Program at Crisis Services, which provides initial and ongoing support for those who have been impacted by sexual and domestic violence, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Advocate Program is a set of truly beneficial services that have helped an immense group of people find courage and overcome the many daily challenges they face.
Any contribution you are able to make is sincerely appreciated. Several small steps add up to create lasting change!
Thanks in advance!
